Octopuses Garden

I awoke today to the feeling of wanting to take on multiple projects and tasks at once as if I were an octopus with eight limbs all working on separate things simultaneously. This is a fairly rare occurrence for me as I tend to have little to no self-motivation often unless something is pressing me. I also woke up content, not that this is uncommon but it was more than usual. I felt warm, inspired, and joyous like riding a creative high. I busted out a large stack of accumulated Travel Leisure, Afar, and Nat Geo magazines I’ve been saving for quite some time for vision boards. Included in this list of things I’ve been holding off on is participating in a blog, which I’m doing as of now. I’m not certain I can put a pinpoint what exactly sparked my motivation today but for someone who doesn’t experience this much, it’s an exciting day, to say the least. So here I am plopped in front of my TV with The Worlds Most Extraordinary Homes queued up on Netflix with a cup of chamomile lavender tea and my scissors and glue stick in hand. Cheers to productivity, let’s hope I don’t crash and burn too quick! Keep chomping at the bit my friends, believe in yourself, and stay golden. Maybe you too will perhaps find mysterious motivation and allow yourself to move forward with your goals. It’s like a happy little accident or something (or is it grander than that?). We won’t go there yet but just wanted to express my gratitude through this platform for this moment.
